Overview
Verdatherm is a sustainable heating and thermal energy company that needed a digital presence as refined as their technology. In a category full of generic 'eco' clichés — leaf icons, stock photos of solar panels, aggressive green color schemes — the goal was to stand out by being genuinely considered.
Challenge
Green energy brands face a double-edged credibility problem: too much eco-branding reads as greenwashing, too little buries the sustainability proposition that differentiates them. Finding the visual and editorial tone that feels authentically sustainable — without performing sustainability — was the central design problem.
Solution
I designed a restrained, intelligent site that communicates environmental commitment through the quality of the design itself rather than through overt signaling. A refined palette of natural tones, precise typography, and photography that focuses on technology and outcomes rather than nature scenes. Technical service pages give experts the depth they need; a clear benefits structure gives new visitors the orientation they need. Built in Webflow with CMS for ongoing content.
Outcome
A distinctive, credible digital presence that positions Verdatherm above the greenwashing noise in its category — trusted by both environmentally motivated buyers and technically sophisticated clients.
